The treatment of Pardosa pseudoannulata with methyl salicylate

Using the plant volatile methyl salicylate, male and female Pardosa pseudoannulata that had been starved for 48 hours were subjected to a 1-minute volatile stimulation, with a 1-minute paraffin treatment serving as a control. Each treatment group was conducted in triplicate. RNA was extracted from the spiders subjected to these treatments and sent for sequencing.
