We examined the variation of soil fertility (relating to nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and soil organic carbon) in this area across different land use types (sloping cropland, flat cropland and secondary forests) with different intensity of human activities and between Spring and Autumn. The 16S rRNA gene sequencing and Biolog ECO plates incubation were used to explore the diversity and composition of soil microbial community.
