Accession-audited BVDV genome curation resource

This dataset provides the accession-level audit trail and derived curation tables for a frozen public-genome resource focused on bovine viral diarrhea virus and closely reviewed bovine pestivirus records. It includes public accession manifests, NCBI/ENA retrieval and de-duplication provenance, count-chain reconciliation, subtype-hint audit tables, figure source data, metadata-missingness summaries, and derived IQ-TREE Newick outputs used in the accompanying manuscript.

The release is designed to support transparent review of resource membership rather than to redistribute primary sequence records. Raw INSDC/GenBank-derived FASTA files, alignments, and reads are not included; primary nucleotide records should be retrieved from their source accessions. The restricted E2/NS4B pilot included here is reported as rule-behavior evidence only and should not be interpreted as a deployment-ready subtype classifier or diagnostic-performance evaluation.
