Assessing community-wide effects of triclosan pollution on marine biofilms through shotgun metagenomics

This study presents data from a long-term flow-through microcosm experiment, testing the toxicity of triclosan (TCS) on natural marine periphyton communities. Four replicate controls and eight TCS exposure levels, from 0.32 nM to1000 nM and with triplicates of the 3.16 nM, 31.6 nM and 316 nM treatments, were included.
