RNA-seq was used to detect mRNA changes in cervical cancer cells after propofol administration. Differentially expressed genes were mapped to KEGG pathways among different groups. Gene Ontology (GO) enrichment analysis was conducted on the differentiated genes in HeLa cells, highlighting the top 20 biological processes among different groups. Notably, lipid metabolism-associated processes, such as steroid biosynthesis, were identified in the GO analysis for the NC vs. 10P group. Gene Set Enrichment Analysis (GSEA) indicated enhanced cholesterol metabolism in the 10P group compared to the NC group, with no significant difference between the 10PIE and NC groups. The 10PIE group showed inhibited cholesterol metabolism compared to the 10P group.
