Crater II CaHK Photometric Candidates

Atzberger et al. 2026 cra2_members.csv: DELVE/MAGIC photometry for color-magnitude, proper motion, parallax, and metallicity selected Crater II candidates. This fully expanded version of Table 2 includes each star’s position, kinematics, magnitudes, metallicity, and membership score. cra2_magic_all.csv: Full Crater II MAGIC catalog. cra2_decam_pointings.txt: Right ascension, declination, exposure time, PSF values, and date(s) observed for each DECam pointing. The number of exposures is listed as 3 if dithered to cover chip gaps and improve the resolution. PSF values give the full width at half maximum (FWHM) of the point spread function. cra2_width_corner_plot_v2.pdf: Corner plot of our width measurement from Section 5.3. The mixture model we fit includes a Crater II stream component and Milky Way foreground component. The first term describes the Crater II stream as a normal distribution with an unknown width, w, and the second term models the Milky Way foreground as a constant distribution. We normalize the likelihood and account for the slight offset between the orbit and our stream coordinates by setting the mean of the normal distribution to the orbit. Both the width and fraction of stars in the Crater II stream are free parameters in this model. We fit this model with the emcee package.
