miRNA and lncRNA alterations in Hepatitis E virus (HEV) full length replicon transfected Huh7 cells

Hepatitis E virus is a globally prevalent causative organism of viral hepatitis and is one of the most common causes of acute liver failure in India. The present study aims to document the alterations of host miRNAs and lncRNAs occuring in HEV infections in order to investigate their possible role in host-pathogen interaction. Leads from these basic analyses could yield diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic candidates to be evaluated in a clinical setting.
