资源简介:
This study investigates the flavonoid biosynthesis in Eupatorium lindleyanum using an integrated metabolomic and transcriptomic approach. The researchers analyzed samples from four different tissues (roots, stems, leaves, and flowers) and identified a total of 330 differentially accumulated flavonoid metabolites and 53,610 differentially expressed genes. They discovered 27 key structural genes and 69 transcription factors potentially involved in regulating flavonoid biosynthesis. The findings provide valuable insights into the molecular mechanisms of flavonoid metabolism in this medicinal plant and lay the foundation for developing new cultivars with enhanced flavonoid content and medicinal value. The study highlights the complex interplay between gene expression and metabolite accumulation in different tissues, revealing tissue-specific patterns of flavonoid biosynthesis.
