The UWB DRONE DATASET is a collaborative dataset created by the University of Turku in Finland and École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland, focusing on drone positioning technologies in GNSS-denied environments. The dataset consists of 7 subsets, covering various configurations with 3 to 6 anchors and setups involving 1 to 4 UWB tags. Collected using the Robot Operating System (ROS) framework, the dataset includes parameters such as the drone's position, altitude, and velocity, aiming to analyze the accuracy and stability of UWB positioning systems, especially for applications in rapidly deployable and mobile anchor systems.
