Interpolated fish habitat data, UMRS trend pools

As an extension of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Long Term Resource Monitoring (LTRM) element of the Upper Mississippi River Restoration's Aquatic Habitat Appraisal Guide (AHAG 2.0) for the Upper Mississippi River System (UMRS), species' probability of occurrence as a function of 17 environmental variables measured at LTRM fish component sample sites were fit for 28 fish species in six long-term study reaches of the UMRS. These spatially explicit models were used to map and interpolate species' distribution within each study reach of the UMRS using a spline with barriers interpolation method. These interpolated fish habitat maps were developed from spatially explicit habitat models derived from LTRM fisheries data. LTRM fish component data used in the development of this dataset were collected at a series of fixed sampling sites across six study reaches of the UMRS dating between 1993 and 2012 using day electrofishing sampling methods.
