The water depth and temperature data were collected in TOGA Area - Pacific (30 N to 30 S) as part of Tropical Ocean Global Atmosphere (TOGA) project between February 28, 1992 and March 15, 1995. 16 files of originator's bathythermograph (XBT) ORSTOM data containing 2,139 profiles were submitted via FTP by Ms. Marie Claire Fabri, Institut Francais de Recherche pour l'Exploitation de la MER (IFREMER), Plouzane, France to Melanie at NODC.
