The effects of six commonly used antibiotics - lincomycin, gentamicin, florfenicol, potassium penicillin, enrofloxacin, and ceftiofur sodium - on the composition and structure of the poultry gut microbiota. Single-molecule real-time (SMRT) sequencing of 16S RNA was conducted on fecal samples from chickens treated with each antibiotic at 0, 3, 7, and 11 days to assess the impact of antibiotic exposure on gut community diversity and dominant species.
