Tree Species on Alpine Treeline (TSAT)

This dataset is the alpine treeline species dataset constructed in the study "<i>Keys to the global treeline formation: thermal limit for its position and moisture for the taxon-specific variation</i>". It comprised 2,235 records of tree-form species on treelines from 739 studies since 1980, including a total of 114 tree species belonging to 22 genera and 10 families across 38 mountain regions and 43 countries. Please refer to the "README.txt" file for details on the methodology used to construct this dataset.
