资源简介:
The qualitative red listing (5-cell method)is a participatory method to identify the most important biological assets that play a role in the livelihoods of local people; to facilitate systematic analysis of the extent and distribution of local crop diversity; and to identify common, unique, and rare plant genetic resources so that the community and professionals can develop diversified livelihood options and conservation plans. Place of execution: Sa Pa district in Lao Cai province and Mai Son district in Son La province where, despite considerable diversity, plant genetic resources are at risk of erosion, as the prevalent ethnic minorities progressively abandon traditional farming practices. The study areas involved local communities categorizing crops and their varieties based on significant morphological characteristics or taste differences. Villagers classified and documented varieties of targeted crops (banana, taro, mustard, and pumpkin) at each village. Contains information on 108 participants, with a participation rate of 57% women and 43% men. Mon 2 village exhibited the highest diversity, while quadrant analysis highlighted different cultivation characteristics. Gender differences in opinions on agrobiodiversity were noted, and stable cultivation areas over the last ten years were observed.
