Vaccinium corymbosum, cv. Northland vs VcmiR156OX mRNA sequencing

The genomic fragment of VcMIR156a was cloned and introduced into pBI121 vector, and transformed into Vaccinium corymbosum, cv. Northland as transgenic blueberry. The tender stems of the VcMIR156a overexpressing transgenic blueberry line and untransformed control were collected, frozen in liquid nitrogen and used for transcriptome sequencing. RNASeq libraries were prepared using the NEBNext UltraTM RNA Library Prep Kit for Illumina following the manufacturer instructions and sequenced on an Illumina high-throughput platform.
