Metagenomic analysis of vegetation succession stages in arid regions

The present study investigates trends in metagenomic nutrient cycle functional gene changes and changes in the potential of key functional genes in the cycles of carbon (C), nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) under different vegetation succession types in arid regions.
