N6-methyladenosine (m6A) constitutes the most abundant mRNA modification, being catalyzed by methyltransferase-like 3 (METTL3), the sole catalytic subunit in the methyltransferase complex. Increasing evidences reveals that METTL3 plays important roles under physiological and pathological conditions, however, its function in promoting osteosarcoma has just begun.
