SPICAV EXT 2 VENUS UV EDRRAW Data Set Overview The SPICAV CRUISE/VENUS UV EDRRAW (level 0A) dataset contains raw measurements from the ultra violet SPICAV spectrometer collected during the extension 2 VENUS phases of Venus Express. Data are stored in the VEXSPI_0AUV/DATA directory, divided into mission phases subdirectories ( VENUS, ...). An easily viewed version of each record of the SPICAV EXT 2 VENUS UV EDRRAW data set is shown in VEXSPI_0AUV/BROWSE. They are then transferred via ftp from the DDS to the Laboratoire Atmosphere, Milieux, Observations Spatiale (LATMOS). All new data files concerning UV and IR channels are processed at LATMOS. Retrieval algorithms and softwares which are used throughout the processing steps from level to level are developed within the Spicav Team. They are writen in IDL.
