TEACHING ENGLISH TO STUDENTS WITH PHYSICAL DISABILITIES: CHALLENGES AND EDUCATIONAL PERSPECTIVES

The increasing emphasis on inclusive education has transformed approaches to English language teaching (ELT), highlighting the need to provide equitable learning opportunities for students with physical disabilities. Although considerable progress has been made in developing inclusive educational policies, many English language classrooms continue to face challenges related to accessibility, instructional adaptation, learner engagement, and the effective integration of digital technologies. This article examines the pedagogical challenges associated with teaching English to students with physical disabilities and explores contemporary educational approaches that promote inclusive language learning.
