National punctuality by month

The punctuality percentage represents the percentage of all domestic trains that arrived at their final destination station with a delay of no more than 5 minutes and 59 seconds in a period of one month. For trains passing through the Brussels North-South connection, the measurement point is the arrival at the first station of the connection that they call at on their journey.What is neutralisation ?According to the management contract, a number of delays caused by incidents external to the activities of Infrabel and SNCB (e.g. accidents at level crossings, cable thefts, delays from foreign networks, vandalism, aggression, etc.) or resulting from planned and communicated infrastructure works may be neutralised.The punctuality figure "with neutralisation" is not intended to reflect passengers' observations, but is a tool for Infrabel and operators to draw up their own balance sheet.To get a good overall picture of overall punctuality regardless of the causes, it is therefore best to look at the punctuality figure "without neutralisation".
