T. brucei parasites (African trypanosomes) were transfected with a Dox inducible gain of function ORF library and subjected to treatment with the anti-trypanosomal agent melarsoprol. In order to identify genes whose overexpression can contribute to survival in the presence of melarsoprol, sequence reads were generated from untreated parasites and for those that survived treatment with the drug.
