This file contains a dataset of summary textual features for a large
sample of UK annual report narratives published over the period 2002-2017,
and extracted and processed using the CFIE-FRSE app described in El-Haj et
al. (2019), Retrieving, Classifying and Analysing Narrative Commentary in
Unstructured (Glossy) Annual Reports Published as PDF Files Accounting and
Business Research (DOI/MS ID: 10.1080/00014788.2019.1609346 /). Data are
provided in three file formats: csv, SAS and Stata. Details of the
sampling procedure, variable definitions and method for matching to
Thomson Reuters Datastream are also provided.
