Soybean oil consumption in India FY 2016-2023

India consumed an estimated volume of over five million metric tons of soybean oil in fiscal year 2023. A large portion of this volume was imported into the country. China, on the other hand was the leading producer of soybean oil globally, consuming about 17 million metric tons that same year.
