Simulation Code for: NetSquid, a discrete-event simulation platform for quantum networks

<p>Code that was used for the simulations for the paper "NetSquid, a discrete-event simulation platform for quantum networks" (https://arxiv.org/abs/2010.12535).</p> <p>This file contains four compressed tarballs (tar.gz files), each containing code for the simulation of a particular use case:</p> <ul> <li><code>quantum_switch_code</code>: a quantum switch (see sec. IIB in the paper and plots therein)</li> <li><code>nv_repeater_chain_code</code>: nitrogen-vacancy based repeater chain (sec. IIC)</li> <li><code>ae_repeater_code</code>: atomic-ensemble based repeater (sec.
