PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a staple device capable of easily deciding a binding position and binding by a user. SOLUTION: In a staple device 100， a first guide member 30 and a second guide member 31 are arranged respectively on both sides of a binding part P of a recording medium， and further are rotatably arranged on the side where the recording medium is mounted of a mounting base 13， respectively. The first guide member 30 and the second guide member 31 are movable to a first attitude along a first direction where one end side with which the recording medium is brought into contact is extended， and a second attitude inclining with respect to the first direction symmetrically with respect to a virtual line K2 passing the binding part P along a second direction orthogonal to the first direction.
