资源简介:
This study focuses on establishing normative reference values for the Zone of No-Contact (ZNC) and the Navicular Drop Test (NDT) in young adults aged 18-25 with normal Body Mass Index (BMI) using Podia Scan technology. Conducted with 500 participants at Maharishi Markandeshwar Institute, the research found significant gender differences in ZNC values, with males exhibiting higher values than females. Additionally, there was a moderate correlation between NDT results and ZNC, indicating that individuals with higher navicular drop tend to have a larger ZNC. The Harris Mat arch index values also varied significantly by gender, aligning with the ZNC findings. These results provide essential baseline data for foot morphology assessments, highlighting the importance of considering gender differences in diagnosing and managing foot-related conditions.
