The PaleoMagnetic Archival Group (PMAG) Database

[Adapted from PMAG Database home page, "http://earthref.org/databases/PMAG/main.htm"] The PaleoMagnetic Archival Group (PMAG) Database contains information on modern paleo, rock and geomagnetic data. You may create customized plot maps from your search results, including equal area projections, lines and planes, demagnetization data, and arai and vector. This database includes peer-reviewed data ranging from magnetrometer measurements to model calculations. Users may search the database using a location or an advanced search. In the location search, users may specify any combination of the following: latitude, longitude, continent, country, region, plate or block and tectonic setting. The advance search allows users to search by latitude-logitude, country, region, location type, and reference. Please note that the database is a prototype and still under construction.
