This series comprises a volume recording reports from the Matron of the Kingston Centre (VA 1278). The reports were prepared monthly for the hospital’s President and Committee. The title of “Matron” was changed to “Director of Nursing” in 1979. Topics covered include but are not limited to new staff appointments, staff departures, visits and visitors, gifts received, celebratory events, social and entertainment functions, accidents and incidents. The Kingston Centre’s Annual Reports (VPRS 19558) included a report from the Matron/Director of Nursing in most years from 1964 onward.
