资源简介:
These data are IDL structures of DMSP/SSUSI data that have been stacked according to interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) clock angle and magnitude from the F16 and F18 spacecraft, using data from 2005 until 2017. They are stacked by summer (prefix: sStr), winter (prefix: wStr) or yearly (prefix: yStr). IMF clock angles have bins of 45 deg. width running from purely northward (tag: cla_0) through southward to positive BZ and negative BY component (tag: cla_7). Magnitudes are in bins 0 to 5 nT, 5 - 10 nT, 10 - 15 nT, 15 - 20 nT, or >15 nT (tags: mag_00, mag_01, mag_02, mag_03, mag_33). Stacks are given for characteristic energy (suffix: _e.dat), mean energy flux (suffix: _q.dat), and Pedersen conductance (suffix: _c.dat). The stacks are in arrays of dimensions [363, 363]. These data can be plotted in magnetic local time and magnetic latitude coordinates using files obtained from the DMSP/SSUSI data base. Also included are the DMSP/SSUSI southern hemisphere data stacked by time from substorm offset in bins of 0.25 hours. The substorm lists orignated from the SuperMAG database. IMF and solar wind data were obtained from the OMNI database. DMSP/SSUSI data were obtained from the website maintained by JHU/APL. <br>
