Distal convoluted tubule (DCT) cells display a remarkable ability to adapt to the dietary potassium intake. We applied single-nucleus RNA-seq to map the plasticity of enriched mouse DCT cells in response to dietary potassium restriction Overall design: Kidney DCT cells of the NCC-Cre-INTACT mice were isolated by Fluorescence-activated nuclei sorting (FANS) according to the presence or absence of mCherry signal and analyzed using scRNAseq.
