This Bioproject contains DNA barcode sequences of bird species collected in the Sarawak region of Borneo. Vouchers are housed in the ornithology collection at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC, USA. This sequence data will add new taxa and enhance current geographic distribution records for the database; confirm field identifications for specimen cataloguing purposes; and, benefit the Birdstrike Identification Program for species involved in bird aircraft strikes from this region of the world.
