Urban canyon climate monitoring in vulnerable Madrid neighborhoods

Climate monitoring campaign of the urban canyon in the city of Madrid carried out by the MonitorMAD team as part of the activities of the MateMAD project. The monitoring campaign starts at October 2023- July 2024 has two components: Monitoring of the urban climate in the study area. Monitoring of the urban canyon in the buildings identified with energy vulnerability indicators. The Climatological features to be monitored are temperature, humidity, radiation, wind speed and balloon temperature. In its installation, the equipment follows the recommendations of the World Meteorological Organization WMO.
