Number of seats won in Scottish Parliamentary elections 1999-2021

The Scottish National Party (SNP) won 64 seats in the 2021 Scottish Parliament election, meaning they are the largest party in the Scottish Parliament for the fourth consecutive election. The SNP won one more seat than they did in the previous election in 2016, with the second-largest party being the Conservative party, on 31 seats, and the Labour party winning 22.
