Dataset - ERT Survey of the Hel Peninsula, Poland

The dataset consists of six files in DAT format compatible with Res2Dinv software and an additional file containing topographical data. These correspond to six survey profiles selected perpendicularly across the Hel Peninsula. During the study, the ERT system from ABEM Lund was utilized, consisting of a central unit (terrameter), an electrode selector, and a set of cables with stainless-steel electrodes. The maximum applied electrical current was 100 mA, and measurements were performed using 2 to 4 stacks to enhance signal quality and reduce noise. The Schlumberger-Wenner array was applied to optimize depth penetration and lateral resolution, providing valuable data for delineating the saltwater-freshwater boundary in the study area. The minimum electrode spacing was 5.0 meters (unit spacing), allowing for detailed subsurface imaging.
