This dataset contains the data used in a study of " International mobility funding duration and academic career outcomes: A longitudinal study of the China Scholarship Council programme". It includes ten Excel files covering two disciplinary domains, Biological and Health Sciences (BHS) and Physical Sciences and Engineering (PSE). For each field, the dataset provides information on recipient background characteristics, geography mobility, career progression, scholarly performance, and academic embeddedness. These files support analyses of the relationship between the duration of international mobility and subsequent academic career development.
