The most notable changes include: industry output and expenditure item benchmarks updated to 2020, reflecting the annual reconciliation of goods and services flows incorporation of household economic survey data from 2019 into household consumption expenditure updated information from the 2018 Census on household dwellings numbers trade data revisions, including significant upward revisions to exports of services. Key points The 2020 provisional figure for nominal production GDP (GDP-P) has been revised up by about $0.8 billion compared with last year’s provisional estimate. Last year’s balanced figures for 2019 were revised down by about $0.4 billion. The 2020 figure for nominal expenditure GDP (GDP-E) has been revised up by around $1.9 billion compared with last year’s provisional estimate. Last year’s balanced figures for 2019 were revised down by about $0.4 billion. Revisions impacted the GDP-P time series from March 2017 to March 2020.
