Gene expression profilings of human gastric cancer MKN-45 cells with CASC19 knockdown

Gastric cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors of the gastrointestinal tract worldwide. There is an urgent need to decipher novel molecular mechanisms of gastric cancer pathogenesis, and identifying new molecular biomarkers and specific therapeutic targets is crucial for advancing and optimizing gastric cancer diagnostic and therapeutic strategies. CASC19 exerts a tumor-driving role in the progression of gastric cancer. We constructed a CASC19-knockdown human gastric cancer MKN-45 cell line. After confirming the gene knockdown efficiency, we extracted total RNA from these cells and performed expression profiling using an Affymetrix gene microarray to identify downstream target genes of CASC19.
