资源简介:
This randomized controlled trial evaluated a 12-week multidimensional assessment-guided rehabilitation program for 60 patients recovering from dermatomyositis. The intervention group (n=30) received individualized strength training and care based on systematic assessments of muscle strength (MMT), activities of daily living, and quality of life, while the control group (n=30) received standard care. Following the intervention, the intervention group showed clinically meaningful improvements: a 1.7 point increase in MMT score (p<0.001) and significant improvements in activities of daily living (ADLs) and quality of life (QoL) compared to the control group (both p<0.05). The results underscore that structured multidimensional assessment enables targeted rehabilitation programs that address key limitations of the traditional one-size-fits-all approach. By objectively quantifying functional deficits and progress, this strategy optimizes neuromuscular recovery and psychosocial adaptation during rehabilitation. The results support the integration of a systematic assessment framework into clinical practice to individualize care pathways, potentially reducing the risk of long-term disability and improving the cost-effectiveness of autoimmune myopathy management. This evidence-based approach provides a replicable model for improving functional outcomes in chronic inflammatory myopathies.
