Gene expression of cardiac organoids at a single cell resolution in healthy and cardiac injury conditions

Cardiac fibroblast heterogeneity has been observed increasingly in data sets coming from model organisms during regeneration and cardiac injury. This works provides the first characterization of cardiac fibroblasts derived from hPSC epicardial cells in a healthy and injured state with single cell resolution. Overall design: hPSC derived cardiac cells were seperated by Fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) according to the presence or absence of RFP or GFP signal and analyzed using multi-seq labeling and subsequent scRNAseq.
