A new calculation method for dynamic adjustment of bed material gradation in a sand-bed river. (in Submission) This database mainly includes: --framework of the section-scale morphodynamic modelling, schematic diagram of the active layer method, and sketch map of the Lower Yellow River (LYR). --model verification results using the flume experiments of Zhang (2015) and field datasets at seven hydrometric sections in the LYR. --comparison results of several representative active layer thickness calculation methods with different conceptual foundations.
