资源简介:
The objectives of this study were to determine the effect of a parent-facing, vaccination decision-making mobile health (mHealth) tool on children’s COVID-19 vaccine series completion and vaccine initiation. This trial was a multi-site, parallel, randomized, controlled trial that took place in 29 clinics. Randomization was performed at the parent/caregiver level using a permuted block randomization stratified by clinic. A mixed-effect Poisson regression with robust variance estimation was used to report the adjusted relative risk (RR) with 95% CI for vaccine series completion and initiation while accounting for the clinic-specific random intercepts. For the Vaccine Uptake app group 13/606 children completed the vaccine series compared to 7/588 in the General Health group (RR = 1.79; 95% CI: 0.59, 5.35). 22/606 children in the Vaccine Uptake app group initiated the COVID-19 vaccine compared to 25/588 children in the General Health group (RR=0.84; 95% CI: 0.42, 1.65).
