Rumen virome was recovered from the lamb metagenome co-assembly, following the viral sequence identification SOP v3 (DOI:dx.doi.org/10.17504/protocols.io.bwm5pc86), with VirSorter2 v2.2.3 12 and CheckV v0.8.1 13. DRAM-v.py was ran to annotate the sequences identified as viral, followed by manual curation according to the SOP. Annotated virome scaffolds are available here.
