Clinical and Anthropometric Data of Patients with Metastatic Prostate Cancer
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains anonymized clinical, anthropometric, and bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) data from 103 male patients with histologically confirmed metastatic prostate cancer (mPCa) treated at the National Cancer Institute of Mexico. The primary objective of the associated study was to evaluate the prognostic value of phase angle (PhA) for overall survival (OS) in patients undergoing androgen deprivation therapy (ADT). Participants were categorized into two groups according to their PhA values (≤4.0° and >4.0°). The dataset includes variables such as age, weight, height, BMI, body composition metrics (e.g., fat mass, fat-free mass, PhA), prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels, Gleason score, clinical stage, and survival outcomes (time and status). These data were used in multivariable Cox regression and Kaplan-Meier survival analyses. The findings suggest that lower PhA values are independently associated with increased mortality risk. This dataset supports further investigation into the use of PhA as a low-cost biomarker for risk stratification and nutritional evaluation in men with mPCa.
