Water microbiome in premise plumbing during extended periods of stagnation

The study was conducted from ten buildings in four sites that experienced more than two months of building shutdowns. Two sites were groundwater-sourced, and other two sites were sourced from surface water. Cold and hot showers were investigated prior to and during flushing to assess the stagnant water quality and the changes that occur during flushing.
