VPRS 10860 Register of Prisoners Received at Marine Stockade and Hulks, Williamstown

The function of the records is to provide a register of prisoners received. The registers include personal information in relation to the prisoners, criminal history, nature of the offence and sentencing details. The registers include information about the prisoner's behaviour whilst in confinement and details regarding the prisoner's discharge. Unit 1 includes an index to prisoners with their registration number and the relevant folio number in the register.
