This dataset provides insights into spatial accessibility to healthcare and education services across Uganda. It has been created using free and open tools such as openrouteservice and open data sources, primarily OpenStreetMap (OSM). The dataset uses travel-time isochrones overlaid with WorldPop population data to calculate the population within specific time or distance ranges from hospital services and schools. It includes variables such as region name, country code, administrative level, service category, range type, and population counts. The dataset is split into training and test sets with 2,464 and 616 examples respectively. It is published by HeiGIT and curated into ML-ready format by Electric Sheep Africa.
