PMA Ethiopia Panel (2021-2023) Cohort 2: Baseline Survey

PMA Ethiopia Panel Cohort 2: Baseline survey used a two-stage cluster design with urban-rural, and major regions as strata. A total of 162 enumeration areas (EAs), located within Panel regions described above, are selected from the master sample frame of the Central Statistical Agency. All pregnant women and post-partum women (age 15 - 49) residing in households, located within the Panel survey regions, were asked to participate in the Panel Survey. A total 2,284 de facto women (99.0%) completed the Panel survey. Data collection was conducted between November 2021 and January 2022.
