Mucosal associated invariant T (MAIT) cells are innate-like T cell population which can be activated by TCR signals and innate cytokines. The aim of this project is to study the transcriptional response of human CD8+ MAIT cell following TCR or cytokine stimulation by RNA sequencing. This will help to understand possible role of MAIT cells during bacterial and viral infections in humans.
