Here presented gingival sulcus microbiome samples from healthy subjects (Control group), patients with patients with chronic periodontitis (CP group), those with chronic periodontitis associated with type 2 diabetes mellitus (CPT2DM). The data was obtained by 16S rRNA gene sequencing approach using Illumina HiSeq 2500 platform. Additionally, DNA samples were pulled and sequenced using the same platform.
