We genetically tagged 158 Mycobacterium tuberculosis clinical strains + the reference strain Erdman with unique barcode and completed whole-genome sequencing in part of a larger study to identify the bacterial phenogenomic intermediate traits linked to tuberculosis treatment outcomes. The strains were isolated from patients in Vietnam and originally sequenced as part of the BioProject PRJNA355614. We repeated WGS to ensure that the bacterial strains we phenotyped were paired to the correct sequence.
